For the drug tests like LRA  (Lymphocyte Response Assay) by ELISA/ACT™and others, he also cut out some food items like beef.

Chris Bumstead and Steroid Use

No one doubts that Chris Bumstead is a pro bodybuilder, his amazingly shredded physique looks photoshopped.

No wonder it’s hard to believe that he got it all for real and only his hard work and superior genetics helped him in achieving so.

In an interview with Joe Rogan, CBum spills the beans about his cycle and openly discusses the blood tests like LRA he had done for food sensitivities and autoimmune diseases.

Further, he prioritizes health over any other supplementation and mentions that bodybuilding is a potentially dangerous sport and everyone should do it carefully.

During the offseason, I supplement myself with 200mg and focus on basics like diet, training, and overall health, said Bumstead.

For the newcomers, the bodybuilder suggested focusing on the basics before adding any supplements to the diet as it causes a severe impact on health. Because it’s literally pointless and you’re not getting the exact results.

With using low-dose supplements he noticed elevated liver enzyme after covid due to the stuff he was taking. Further, his blood pressure was also high so in order to cater to the condition, CBum added beetroot extract to his diet routine.

Also, he added to ensure your blood work is done on frequent days to analyze how the supplement affects your body.

Chris Bumstead’s Steroid Cycle

In his statement, Bumstead indicated that during his initial days, he used to run a typical cycle that most bodybuilders would.

Even though he started supplementing with very low amounts a typical amount of compounds, four or five compounds throughout a prep.

When asked about his steroid cycle, Bumstead replied –

“So, I’ve been… like I said, very low dose on my supplements that I’ve been doing. I’m going to be going up a little more after this if I’m healthy.

Ugh, I hate talking about it because I don’t want to say things because I don’t want people to do it. But, numbers are around 200 that I’ve been doing and I come off once a year completely.

Then, I’ve been doing a very low dose, 200 [migs] a week. Then, after that, I’ll go up to 500 maybe, and that’s going to be my peak off-season.

With that, my body can easily get up to 265 pounds if I’m training and eating perfectly.”

However, he suggested to young enthusiasts now to jump directly into the steroid cycle and try to balance training and healthy eating.

Bum’s skin flushing is not very severe, but it still represents that the bodybuilder has been using steroids. This leads his followers to ask… Is Mr. Olympia Natural?
