Larry Wheels Discusses His Early Life & Steroids Stack

Larry Wheels, 29 years old (currently), from the Bronx, a place in New York. He broke many world records in November by lifting a combined total weight of 985 kg (2171 lbs) at the SPF Record Breakers held in Dublin, California, a non-drug tested federation.

Larry “Wheels” Williams, is the current WRPF world record holder in the 242 lbs division exclusively in powerlifting.  He successfully broke the all-time world record doing a total of 2171 pounds raw.

Actually, Larry Wheels stays so healthy that great things are ultimately expected from him. He recently announced a target on trying bodybuilding to indulge in more mass because he is very tired of being at the same weight.

Early Life and Struggles

Larry Wheels belonged to a destitute family where he wasn’t studying, going to school, or caring about anything, unlike other athletes. His childhood aim was just to become stronger and bigger so that nobody would bully him.

In order to fulfill his dream, Larry began to do push-ups, pull-ups, and sit-ups every day. Later, he built with the help of his mother, a basic weight set consisting of two 40 lbs of concrete blocks and a broomstick.

Using this weight set, he was capable of doing more complex and hard exercises that included biceps curls and military press which assisted him to grow his physique later in the future.

After he started to train himself as hard as he could, he began to work at his first job several years later which enabled him to easily grab a gym membership.

Larry began his training in a completely new environment that was full of weightlifting equipment where he witnessed immense progress in his physique.

29 years old Larry Wheels has never been afraid of discussing his steroid usage and sharing his views and experience of using this drug. He has been so open about the use of steroids whenever being asked.

“When he was 16 or 17, he got stuck into a lot of drinking and partying”, Larry explained. Even worse, he used to do recreational almost every weekend which was later transitioned into every other day.

He decided that he would not end up like his loser best friend he looked up to. Therefore, Larry decided to drop all other substances and switch to steroids.

At the age of 17 going on 18, though he knew that his life was heading in the wrong direction this was the only way he could save his life since his only aim was lifting heavy weights. And that, after 3 years of gap, he was setting world records in powerlifting.

Steroid Usage

WRPR, World Raw Powerlifting Federation is not drug tested enabling his squints to use heavy amounts of steroids. Moreover, to keep up with everyone else there, he needed to use steroids for bulking.

For instance, Larry admitted that he used 500mg testosterone with 150 mg Anadrol to lead up to the US Open Powerlifting Championships. Thereby, he was also found admitting he used over a gram of testosterone a week accompanied by lots of superdrol clones, dianabol, trenbolone, and turinabol.

Larry Williams says he hates using Trenbolone because of its ill effects and that it doesn’t add as much strength as Orals. Additionally, he said, it affected his mood and caused him to acquire depression with some other negative signs of high blood pressure and libido problems.

Larry Wheels, being as a disclaimer outlined that it was just because someone wanted to run heavy doses of steroids. But running heavy doses of steroids does not make you able to bench 600 or even more pounds. This is just a completely hypothetical perception that steroids are magic but actually, they are merely a tool.

Larry started his bodybuilding training in the gym where he believed that the more he trained the better he would work out with weights. He barely took a rest from his training sessions.

Initially, this worked for Larry, but eventually, he stopped progressing in his physique. “At some point, it was unable to gain more weight, he couldn’t get heavier than 190 pounds”, he said.

Soon enough he started to work out towards progressing in his size and strength after decreasing his workout frequency. These days, Williams trains himself thrice a week. According to him, it is the most optimal frequency which allows him to easily and completely recover between his exhausting powerlifting sessions.

  • Squat, Warm up to 90% 1RM, 4 working sets of 3 reps
  • Bench Press, Warm up to 75% 1RM, 5 working sets of 5 reps
  • Floor Press, 4 sets of 3 reps with 85% 1RM
  • Cable Push-Down, 8 sets of 10 reps

Larry William’s Diet & Nutrition

William’s diet is all about taking high-calorie intake when it comes to gain size. He consumes almost 5500 calories and more than 400 grams of fat during this period. Foods like beef, rice, and avocadoes are some of his staple foods for bulking.

Meanwhile, Larry greatly reduces his calorie intake when cutting down. In this phase, he consumes 4400 calories and only 90 grams of fat. Foods for cutting include salmon, chicken, sweet potatoes, and rice.

Accomplishments

Raw 2,275 lbs in total (810 lbs squat, 610 lbs bench press, 855 lbs deadlift) at 275 lbs of body weight.
