Robinson Cano, is a second baseman for Seattle Mariners has recently get suspended for 80 games for violating baseball joint drug agreement.
He has already planned to take an extended leave on Sunday after he broke his hand. But, unfortunately before that the news of Robinson’s steroids use broke.
And all the sympathy towards Cano when he broke his hand has turned to disgust in less than 72 hours.
MLB (Major league baseball) has announced that Robinson is tested positive during off-season for Diuretics. This substance is banned by most of the major sports organizations as it can be mistreat by the athletes to semblance the presence of steroids or to excrete water for the purpose of weight loss.
While canon and his representative insist that canon had taken Furosemide as per prescription of doctor for his medical condition in the state of Dominican Republic.
After accepting the suspension, Cano has tweeted a statement saying that doctor has prescribed him Diuretic.

The 35 years old veteran has tested positively for drug during winter and was re-tested through the drug administrative who has conducted his investigation.
Baseball joint drug agreement stipulates that IPA believed Cano has cleared for the first time offender for the case of involving diuretics.
The independent program administrator needed a proof that Robinson was using steroids as masking agent and the investigation revealed that he has was using steroid intentionally to mask another illegal substance.
Cano get charged as a suspension for 80 games with a positive test and there is no different than if he was taking banned steroids.
According the section 3(F), it is mentioned in the joint agreement, that the presence of diuretic or any other masking agent in the players’ urine shall be treated as a positive results if IPA determine, that the players are avoiding the detection of prohibited drugs or steroids which they have already used.
The PED suspension will cost Robinson $12 million. It will cost Mariners games whereas he is eligible to return in August. And if Mariners will happen in order to end their seventeen years playoff drought, then he will be ineligible to play in that postseasons.
The player’s union filed a complaint 20 days ago, and after hearing get scheduled on Tuesday and informed MLB that they were dropping appeal.
Two-time Glove and eight time all-star winner, Cano had a fabulous career in baseball that make him richer beyond his wildest dreams but now everything what he has done will get tarnished forever.
The players who has been suspended for PED or even directly connected to its use, has elected to the hall of fame under any circumstance.
However, Cano will continue playing and perhaps he will keep growing, but never again we will look at him as same.
And of course it doesn’t matter whether he gets 3000 hits or even 4000 hits, he will forever be remembered as a cheater in baseball infamy.
